How good is Isak Alexander? Apparently the biggest young talent in Sweden, only 17 and has scored a bunch of goals for his club already at first team level. Dubbed the new Zlatan and apparently close to signing for Chelski.

I don't think I've ever heard anyone call him the new Zlatan domestically. The guy's good, probably sticking out a bit because of the poor state of Swedish football. I don't think he's a world class talent though. If he does anything at all in Europe it'll be years from now. He might be worth gambling on but I doubt he's gonna be an Arsenal level player. When Zlatan broke through, by contrast, everyone knew that he was going to be one of the handfull best players on the planet in the future. It was so obvious.

I actually think Jordan Larsson (that's Henrik Larsson's son) looks like a better talent all things considered. He seems destined for Feyenoord at the moment though.

To be fair to him the root of all evil is Peter Lim. It's quite incredible how you can take a regular CL side, pump a couple dozen million into it (read: Mendes' pockets) and turn them into relegation battlers

Hitchin Town have sacked the semi-professional footballer Alfie Barker over offensive comments sent on Twitter to the Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter about his stillborn daughter.

The Football Association will investigate the tweets sent from an account in Barker’s name, which were targeted at Arter after Arsenal came from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 at Bournemouth on Tuesday.

Another ridiculous Fifpro team. I could smell it in the nominations that rewarded irrelevant Barcelona and Real Madrid players, and that was reflected in the final selection.
To top it all off: Griezmann didn't even make the team of the year despite his top 3 nomination.
