Wigan are below our level too. It doesn't matter. A team is built on interaction and understanding. You lose that when you basically swap the entire starting eleven for players that rarely have played a game together; some even out of position on top of all. Looking at the sending off again I think Gibbs deserves a bit of stick too. His discipline and positional play leaves a lot to be desired at this stage of his career.

Tracking back to make that last ditch tackle is probably the reason that we're still at 1-0.

Just as I was about to drop a line about how apathetic Almunia has looked he pulls off a class save.

I'd be very pleased if we could get away with 1 or 2 goals and conceding none in this game, given the circumstances. Eboue and Gibbs have been absolutely terrible.
