This is getting depressing. Nasri hobbling off and now idiot Squillaci gets himself sent off.
he's really destabilized our defence.. we looked fairly solid with Kos and DJ..
unbelievable.. i cant believe the tripe we've seen in this game.. we have the biggest nightmare of a midfield and now we're down to 10 men thanks to our nightmare of a defender..
and we now have Denilson playing CB?

Denilson should have fouled him.
He tried to.
There's a big issue here; the fullbacks are getting caught out of position, Chamakh and Arsh aren't pressing from the front and Diaby is basically doing nothing in midfield.
We're still gonna win.
we look like we're at 4's and 5's right about now (not even 6's and 7's)
The familiar sight of our second string handing the opposition the initiative.... Looking sloppy and flat right now. Terrible.
We'll still win this. They are awful.
I would punch Squillaci and Denilson if I saw them in the street.
The 2nd string issue is becoming a big concern. We will need a lot more from these characters when we enter that tough period including the cup final and the Barca games. This is tripe.
Were not much better though Gurgen. Loose enough in posession, careless in front of goal.
Although arguably even when Squillachi was on the pitch it was like we we were playing with ten anyway today

No it isn't.
Wenger shouldn't be making such wholesale changes; that is the issue, not the quality of these players.
Hudds are very poor, thank fuck, but we never make it easy for ourselves.
In honesty I'm not sure losing that twat is a big deal, he's terrible anyway...worried about Nasri though, hamstring?
And in saying all that, with just a little extra from Arshavin, we would be coasting this already. After 30mins we had 80% possession and had created enough to be three ahead.

We're playing against guys who could quite easily be accountants and milkmen tomorrow. Our 2nd stringers should have this covered.

Looked like a bad one too, his face as he came off suggested that he knew it was serious.
I think he's out for at least a month.
Squillaci only misses the Everton game which he wouldn't have played anyway. Nasri is a much bigger concern. Fingers crossed it's nothing major.
Let's not speculate on Nasri. The thought of him being out for a month is depressing. That would effectively end our title challenge unless Arshavin can be reliable over that period
As a CB pairing Squillaci and Kos are diabolical. No understanding at all between them.

You've been watching football for long enough to know the result of making nine changes to a team.
Capi, I agree that changing 9 players will lead to a less than an ideal team in terms of chemistry and fitness, but this is not Wigan. These guys are below our level.
I expected the Chamakh for Song change. Sensible from Wenger.
