Higuain an inch away from lobbing in 1-0.

Mandzukic free with the keeper now. Great save from Subasic.

Sounds like Monaco is taking it to Juve?

Basically same as first leg, Juve all defence and playing on the counter.

Monaco looks off form though, a lot of stay passes. Too impatient.

Juve look lethal tonight. Every time they get the ball it ends up being a chance on goal.

Lucky escape for Juve, Falcao wasn't offside.

Mandzukic 1-0. Well deserved too.

And now Mandzukic scores. Devastating counter attack again.

Someone in Monaco was definitely offside when the cross was first played. It doesn't really matter since Buffon saved the shot though.

Mandzukic is an absolute class player, by the way. He rarely gets much credit but he's a winner if I've ever seen one. Steel mentality.

Higuain scores, but it's ruled offside. Alves with the pass again.

Monaco look absolutely lost out there. They shouldn't have started without Fabinho.

Incredible game so far. Juve look like Arsenal circa 2005.

Fucking hell Chiellini what a piece of defending. World class

99.9% of defenders would have scored an own goal there.

Mendy despite being unfit is tearing it down the left flank. His crossing is top notch as usual.

Glik was offside but wasn't interfering with play. Mbappe would have had a tap-in after that save though.

Alves! What a shot!

Alves.. 2-0.. Juve look really really good

FUCKING HELL what a shot from Alves. 2-0!

I've seen it three times now and still have no idea how he got that ball out of the way. Incredible.

while that was a nice volley from Alves, i might have thought the keeper could've got that.. he seemed not ready for that follow up shot

Assisted all three goals so far and then scores like that? Alves has been quality.

I think it's fair to say he interferes with play when Juventus have to devote a player to marking him though. The cross could just as easily have landed in his path.

World class.

How great is Dybala tonight though? The bloke just doesn't get dispossessed. His close control is incredible.

Alves is probably the best right back of all time. It's been Alves vs Monaco for both legs now.

Plus Buffon saved the shot anyways and Mbappe would have been offside on the followup so makes no difference.

We missed a trick not going for him a couple years back. He looked good back then but could never have predicted he'd get this much better. Just needs to be a bit more of a goalscorer and he can be one of the best forwards in Europe.

That guy breathes and lives on defending. Just look at his reaction right after that.

I would imagine that would easily make it into top 10 best defensive clearance ever.

Have no idea what Jardim is thinking though to introduce a formation they have never played before in such a crucial match. He probably tried too hard to outwit Allegri. They looked even more of a mess defensively than the first leg.

Greatest modern full back ever

He might win a 4th CL trophy and third treble this season. Can't think of too many players who won more trophies than him

I honestly can't decide if Marcelo or Alves is better. As a pairing though, unrivalled.

Wonder what Barcelona is thinking letting Alves go. He was so crucial in all of their attacking play.

Mbappe again.. this lad cant stop scoring. every goal adds 3 million to his price

Big Willie wrote:

Only need 4 to win.

1 down 3 more to go.

Higuain doing well not to react and get wound up by Glik again. Guy looks like he thinks he's in WWF

mandzukic looks like he wants to kill glik's family.. lol

Juventus are the real deal. I wonder how much their team cost to assemble relative to ours.
Alves is 34 guys. F-me. What an incredible player.

That defence is amazing and the speed at which they counter attack is not too bad either. Juve have been very impressive in the knockout stages.

I'd like to see this bloke win Champions League once before he retires. He's playing for at least another year but it's a long shot to expect Juve to reach the final again. Class act both on and off the field though. Still the best keeper around at 39 years of age. Mbappe tonight was the first player to get a ball past him in the Champions League knockout stages. He has only conceded 3 goals in the entire tournament.
