Thiago is really a better version of Cazorla, other than when it comes to set pieces where the roles are reversed.

I'd have taken Marcelo over Dani Alves any time during the last decade or so myself.

Yeah he would've made a lethal pairing on the left wing for us behind Memphis Depay.

Ronaldo is an absolute machine.

32 years.

No, but Wenger probably would have turned him into a lesser Kieran Gibbs.

Dani Alves shits from a great height at both imo

Alves is better than Lahm but I'd take Marcelo ahead of him.

Ronaldo. Just a phenomenon.

Those Hungarian officials are a disgrace though. Either out of their depth or corrupt.

One Ronaldo!! Glorious player. Who hits 5 goals against Bayern?
I smiled when the game ended. Bayern are yet another club that has mocked us after one of our gimp acts. Didn't feel sorry for them. But yeah, video replays are overdue. I don't blame the referees for any of the calls. Theirs is an unrealistic job.

Oh come on the offside was ridiculous

No it wasn't. It was 40-50 centimeters off at high speed. I can understand why he missed it. Referees don't have the benefit of the exact line and replays from thirty two angles like you.

It's the same reason I can understand Sané getting his goal against us in the first round of the season.

Loved that! Cristiano Ronaldo. what an amazing player. Never though he would mature, but he really does lead that team. Asensio's goal was great to watch, more for the pain it inflicted on Robbery and co.

Happy to see the Judas XI go out, would've preferred more of a thrashing.

Oh, and the red was justice done in the end. Guy had 3 or 4 yellow card worthy challenges before that.

That's a foot and a half! It's pretty poor performance - yeah, sure they have a difficult job but you honestly would expect a linesman to get that right more often than not which means they've under performed in that particular instance.

Vidal is overrated as hell. Always seems like a red card waiting to happen

I love Johnny-come lately Barca fanboys. They've all been annoyed as hell that Ronaldo did what he did yesterday and they're facing elimination tonight. Hope Allegri does them in and ends their corrupt regime.

Ancelotti should be disappointed in his players. Without those red cards in each leg, maybe they win the tie.

Nah he's quality.

Funny that you mention Juventus and Real because they are two of the very few clubs who are even bigger bribing cunts than Barca

We complain Cazorla is gone old, Bayern started Ribery (34) Robben (33) and Alonso (35) in midfield in a CL quarter final.

I get your point, and experience is an undervalued quality, but I have never seen Xabi Alonso play as bad as he did yesterday. He gave the ball away so many times when he shouldn't have and just can't run at all any more. Spent a year too long at this level I reckon, decision to retire looks right to me.

But they look old and past it as a team.

They looked much better than Real before the red card.
