Well European nights in mid-July are only ever memorable for the wrong reasons and no Celtic fan will be forgetting this one in a hurry. Humbled by a side of part-timers from Gibraltar, a country with a population half the size of Celtic Park.

The Brendan Rodgers era begins in ignominious fashion with arguably the worst result in the club's history. He will want to limit the damage with a convincing victory in the second leg at Parkhead next Wednesday to see Celtic through to the next round.

What they should have done is target the left wing.
Start by getting through customs then past the civil servant and the shipping agent and you are through to the police officer.
