I know you're only having a laugh but it is a shame from an Arsenal perspective. He should he on top of the world coming back to Arsenal because he's shown on the biggest stage he's genuinely amongst the best players in the world, instead he'll be absolutely gutted at how a massive chance slipped away and he wasn't there to make a difference.

Hopefully he gets over it quickly.

I heard the roar from the Welsh as he motioned to them Clrnc.

When Bale drops deep it's a bit like when Sanchez does the same. Limitations in their game really come to the fore.

He's fine from deep but nothing special. Thing is, he's been nothing special the whole tourney.
