Yeah I think so. People tend not to realise that you only need a few good months to manage that.

Leicester are not a truly top 8 team though if you take away the anomaly that was last season.

I really fear for them and West Ham because it's not the fact that they are losing games but they are shipping a lot of goals and this spells trouble because it is difficult to arrest.

Leicester's great run of form goes back to Feb 2015 though so their quality is apparent for me. Their squad added more quality since then so it's just up to the manager to find their balance right.

West Ham on the other hand looks truly terrible. They need to arrest their slide soon or Bilic will go.

General

They've lost Kante and he was fundamental to the way they played. It is not unusual for teams to have one great season and then completely fall off the radar the following season. Leicester are prime candidates for this. They might have brought in players but there is still a hole in the area Kante occupied.

Agreed. Look no further than Blackburn Rovers circa 95/96.

Speaking of terrible teams who's manager is set for the chop. Is Mark Hughes the most overrated manager in the PL over the last decade or so? The amount of times you hear people say he was hard done by when City sacked him is weird. He's an extremely poor manager and despite heavy investment at Stoke he's finally done away with the solidity of Pulis side and now they are abysmal.

Would be extremely delighted to see the back of Stoke to be honest. I don't want to see them ever again in PL. Horrible club with horrible fans.

The way Citeh have set about they will easily win the league this season. One thing about Pep's system is that players are already so focused on their roles he doesn't need to get them motivated for the smaller teams. They'll bully all of them to a pulp. Tbf we look the only team capable of beating them.

A bit premature. Swansea caused them all sorts of problems and the penalty was a joke. They remain the favourites but it's a long season ahead.

City won their first 5 matches last season too. Different managers and players yes, but a lot can change. City isn't on Barca's or Bayern's level. They are a confidence team like us. Momentum can change quickly.

Citeh looked fragile despite winning last year. Don't look it this year. Not saying they won't face trouble, but they now have a manager who both knows how to win big games and how to be flat track bullies. Unless other teams can learn to be as incisive as we can be in our element then it's hard not to see them winning.
