Leicester loss was on Raneiri IMO. They didn't know whether to defend or attack. They had slimani, vardy and mahrez start, yet no buildup. The seemed confused about their approach to me. Also anyone notice fuchs? He looked gassed and was barely running. They need to get creative going forward.

Yup it was only a matter of time before the real tinkerman appeared. The smile is being wiped off his face and that's the ruthless nature of football. Tactically Leicester were shocking and were set up to fail with a two man midfield and two strikers who don't drop to help. It wasn't as if United had to go up a level to beat them. The distraction of Champions League football could put them in a perilous position like Everton a few years ago.

They still have the quality to finish in the top 8 easily.

Top 8 will be anything but easy. They will probably make it out of their CL group and this will stretch their squad even further. It's very congested around midtable and teams like Southampton and West Ham are yet to pick up form.

Southampton got 6th last season despite a barren run of about 10-15 games in which they couldn't win around Christmas, the obvious exception of course was their 4-0 win over us at St. Mary's

I disliked them since they got back up (after Adkins was fired at least) but with Koeman and Wanyama gone they should be a bit more tolerable I guess. Absolutely need to get a win at their shithole for the lingering remaining anger to subside though
