Ultimately it's only been 2 years since the Uk decided to leave. In the grand scheme of things, that's not a long time and when you contrast that with, say HK, which took nearly a decade to decolonise and draft a new arrangement then most of us will have to make our peace with the fact that this will go on well into the 2020s.
