I guess what I'm saying is I don't get why anyone derives enjoyment from what, all things considered, amounts to a media pile-on in support of the Israeli state at the hour its last scrap of moral credibility has expired. It seems tricky to do without bankrupting yourself morally into the bargain.
"Pop group says MPs should be killed" isn't exactly a big deal in music history. It's normal, a cliché. As the adage goes, Kneecap are "just saying what everyone's thinking".
I'm not a fan myself but then I never liked the Clash much either. Used to love Morrissey, who famously recorded the B-side "Margaret on the Guillotine", but sadly he turned out to be a dreary fascist.
