How bout it? Im willing to give it a try, tbh. Not top, top quality we are hoping for, but still could work well in our system.
Javier "Chicharito" Hernández
No more united rejects
Baby faced assassin.
How is Elneny's agent tweeting his 'Chicharito' a "massive hint" that he's moving to Arsenal?
The fox article isn't much better. Not fond of this guy at all. Has nothing to his game other that goals and he's a pretty average goalscorer.
If we are going to sign a runner with mediocre all-round game, I'd rather this guy than Vardy. At least you know the Mexican scores goals wherever he goes. Not my cup of tea though
Jeinny says we will love him.
I would love to see the day we sign this guy. There will be lots of broken furniture and bones in Arsenal supporting households worldwide.
In terms of viability, this guy fits Sanchez and Ozil like a glove.
No thanks. Nowhere near good enoguh for a club like ours.

Not really, he's only scored 17 in the league last season and his highest before that since moving to Europe was 13 which is pretty poor for someone who has absolutely nothing about their game other than being a goalscorer.

We have Giroud, Welbeck and Theo.
A half decent striker is a step in the right direction.
Yeah. Ricky, are we saying we should dump all of Giroud, Welbeck and Theo? Because Cheetos is better than all of them
He's not better than Giroud.
Anyway Claud, are you not always making the point that we need to streamline the squad with fewer players made up of more top class and less fillers? A player is either good enough or he isn't, the fact that the players here are not good enough doesn't change anything.
Another ex-Manc? That would go down well in the Biggus household.
Giroud > Chicharito
Possibly Welbeck too.
Wellbeck is out for the season, Theo looks finished. We need at least one goalscorer on the bench to bring on. We do have Joel but I think he'll leave soon enough for first team football. I'd take this dude.

Not inconsistent. We are better off with a team that has Hernandez, than one that has either Walcott or Welbeck. I always say that we have a lot of poor players who exhibit high variability in performance. By reducing the contributions of these guys, we will automatically be better off. I would welcome Cheetos in light of this. Yes, I would always prefer we get the best possible player in the market, but I am quite sure that is not happening.
Only want this if it's one of two marquee forward signings and we sell Walcott.
So I suppose this means I don't want it. Nothing against the player though, I reckoned we should have signed him when he left United since they'd so evidently demoralised him after a bright start in the league.

Giroud's a better centre forward by some distance in my opinion. And I'd take a fit Walcott and Welbeck over Hernandez too. I just don't rate the Mexican at all - a really bang average footballer and an overrated goalscorer.
Fact is Welbeck is out for all of next season, Walcott has had a really bad year and might be struggling with his fitness long term - so we do need someone, but what is the point of adding a nothing player like Hernandez to the squad? He's not going to cut it playing up front on his own for our team because his all round game is pants and he's hardly a lethal, prolific goalscorer to compensate.
He's found his level at Leverkusen in my view.

Nah Chicarito is like Vardy with less goals, less fight and less all round game.
If its deadline day and its Chicarito or nobody I'd take nobody.

I think that's a flawed way of looking at it, you have to factor the amount of games/minutes played. I'm pretty sure his goals to minute ratio is good.
