6 foot, 22 year old, Albanian Right Back.

Arsenal are reportedly raising their offer for Napoli and Albania right-back Elseid Hysaj to €19m.

He was snapped up from Empoli a year ago, following Coach Maurizio Sarri to the Stadio San Paolo.

The Gunners had already shown interest in Hysaj over the last few days, as did Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Monaco and Atletico Madrid.

However, French site Le10Sport claim that Arsenal are raising their bid from €15m to €19m.

As the 22-year-old only cost them €5m, that would represent a huge profit for Napoli.

However, the Partenopei are in the Champions League next term and do not want to dismantle their squad.

“I consider Arsenal to be on the same level as Napoli, certainly not better

That was an old quote about higgy.

He's been great for Napoli. His performances for Albania in the euros only served to confirm that he is even better on the big stage.

Why would we go for a 22 year old rb?

He's supposed to be equally comfortable and capable on either flank.

If we believe he's an extraordinary talent, why wouldn't we?

Because of Bellerin obviously. Though if he is equally comfortable on the left then perhaps it makes a little more sense.

We've been linked with Rodriguez and we're hoping Debuchy leaves. If this guy is a top talent and can play on the left and the right, perfect.

I see no problems with having Bellerin and also Hysaj.

Is he prone to getting skinned on the inside Savz?

He's not as comfortable on the left and is way too good to be sitting on the bench. I suspect other clubs will be on his case as well

Haven't seen enough of him to give a fair answer.

His agent has confirmed Barca/Atleti are both interested.

we should aim to have two top quality options at every position. bellerin may be tempted to relax if we continue to put garbage behind him in terms of competition. we play 60 games per season, plenty of minutes to go around. it would be great to have proper squad depth for once

Right back is the last position we need a young "top quality" addition. Not even the Spanish giants have that kind of talent as backup in their ranks and we certainly don't, for literally every other position it'd make more sense to sign a guy of his age and pedigree

It's not that he wouldn't get any games here but that he's a) too good to play only around 20-30 games a season and b) he'll never come here. Bayern have been reported to be sniffing around as well and he'd be a starter for them

Why would he never come here?

I'd recommend reading the sentence following "he'll never come here", explaining why he'll never come here.

It's a bit senseless to spend €19 million on a backup rightback when we have several first choice players who aren't good enough though.
