Vardy decided on a move here on Friday I reackon. Twitter reporting he had his medical while the England squad were at our training ground etc.

I believe it is just damage limitation with Leicester fans. He wants it to seem as though it was a very tough decision, as to not tarnish the great relationship/reputation at the club.

He'll be our number 9.

Of course not. Its just a PR spin from Vardys side to make it appear as he's under pressure to make a tough choice in a hurry. We can relax, its done and dusted already.

wonder if any announcement may have been delayed as a result of our subsequent talks re Mahrez?
Perhaps giving Leicester some time to be able to announce a signing of their own to soften the blow?

How would this work, invis? Hodgson making demands that every English player that wants to move this summer makes a decision before the Euros? Hodgson can't make demands like that.

I don't know, I thought that's what the whole Ornstein "decision by 11.30" thing was about. Perfectly reasonable not to have players distracted with contract negotiations and flying off for medicals during a major tournament isn't it?
