Gray's an oaf, but he wasn't fired following a sexual harrassment complaint (by the looks of it), he was fired for PR reasons. The anonymous releasing of these clips is quite sinister and it makes it look like someone at Sky is rail-roading him out of the place. If people at Sky had genuine sexual harrassment concerns they should have filed grievances and it should have been dealt with privately. A public trial by television is embarrassing, ridiculous (check out forums with people micro-analysing screen grabs of the clips), and unjust.

I agree.

Easily the most fair and reasonable assessment that I've read on the whole saga Pepe.

I've met her and she is cool as. Funnily enough, it's not only in football circles that she gets grief and not only from blokes either.

Got to say I don't really get into the "blokes together disrespecting women" bit. anyway on this, I genuinely don't get why people are so thrilled Andy Gray's gone. Keys I can understand, but I think Andy Gray had a real passion for the game. Obviously he has shown himself to be sexist, but I'm not sure that's a reason to sack someone. Even in this day and age. He's been tucked up good and proper.

Why was the other reporter suspended, all he said was she was a bit of a looker?! Hardly a terrible insult or anyway demeaning. Ridiculous over the top reaction there imo, he wasn't questioning her ability to do her job.

People like to see others knocked off their perch.

I've never minded Gray too much but I can't stand Keys and don't see why he ever had that job. Hopefully they will get in someone more knowledgable and less sensationalist.

This is what forums are for – honest discussion - very few places left where people can express themselves freely.

I can deal with the truth of what people think even if in some parts I find the thoughts are maybe slightly worrying :hmm:
