PL: Want to win vs Spurs and would settle for a draw at United. No need to mention that Bournemouth at home has to be 3p.

CL: Win vs Ludo and draw vs PSG will do.

EFL: Dont really care, play the second string team.

Too early to be doing calculations and whatnots.

Need to avoid that mini slump we always seem to have in November.

Oh come off it mate. This has nothing to do with any inferiority complex, but what is realistic during the course of a football season. Your team is bound to drop points here and there and away games vs _top 10 sides are the most likely and the most "acceptable" ones where it could happen. I "want" that W as well, but its more realistic that we will not come off with 9 points from 3 games in November, so if we have to drop some of the points, i'd rather do it away at Old Trafford than at home vs Sp*rs or Bournemouth. Nothing else in it.

A win at that shithole would be a huge boost to team morale. I'd definitely rather drop points to Bournemouth than United, the latter scenario would be a field day for the media and would raise the same dumb questions even if we drew or lost because of another couple of bullshit ref calls

Of course, im just saying where i would find it "acceptable" to drop points. Not acceptable to lose points at home vs smaller sides like Bournemouth or Boro. Drawing away at United or Spurs - everyone could live with that at the end of the day.

It will be a difficult game considering how much pressure they find themselves under at the moment. Form tend to go out the window during these matches too. We don't 'need' a win desperately but they do, so let's see if they come out and play first and take it from there. A point is an acceptable result. A loss would take some wind out of our sails.

The thing is it's not like Wenger will set out to go defend. We are not going to play to avoid a loss anyway, so we might as well go all out with the intention of getting the win. As long as we don't make any stupid defensive mistakes we should be able to do them comfortably.

And it's Mourinho.

The United game is on a Saturday after the international break. I will be very happy with a point, we generally don't do well in such games. However, the Chelsea game was a blueprint of how our approach should be for a big game. We manage a similar commitment and intensity level and we will win.

Guys, this title race is unreal. 1 point between 5 teams in Nov and all teams look the real deal.

There won't be many margins of error, we need to be at our ruthless best to succeed.

Matches between contenders will decide the title. We have lost to Liverpool at home already. We have to beat Spurs next week. Proper six pointer that.

I say Liverpool have been the most impressive going forward but spurs are the team to beat.

We look the most complete team but we tossed away our opening games

City will be right up there. Liverpool look lively but will have a few tough patches

Spurs are annoyingly tough to beat and will hang around like a bad smell as they tend to do

Chelsea still a bit of an unknown quantity for me

Chelsea look like the team to beat to me (but it might well be City 10 games from now) and Conte looks like the best manager in the league. I expected the latter but not the former.

It's still too early to call though. I have no feeling whatsoever for how the chips will fall this season. Maybe Wenger will surprise people by not having one of his customary mid-season collapses? We have a really good thing going here for the first time in ages. We look like a genuine title candidate.

I think Chelsea will be shown up over the next few weeks. They're on a nice little run but by the time they play City I think they'll be a few points off them. Don't agree at all that Conte is the best manager in the league, Klopp is doing more with less.

I think City are still the team to beat. Liverpool will fall away over Christmas.
