Few different places are today linking us with a £30m move for Draxler. Wouldn't be against the idea, he could be something very special, but his injury situation is off putting, to say the least

I would love it if we signed Draxler. There are only a handful of young players in the world who are similarly gifted to him. He's exactly the type we should be taking a punt on if we're going to take a punt at someone at all. You buy when their stock is low and then you straighten out their career path again. It used to work wonders for us with the likes of Thierry Henry, Robert Pires and Patrick Vieira.

Rumours that Sterling has put his Southport home up for sale and is looking for a place down in London. I reckon he might slap in a transfer request the day after the the last game of the season. Not sure how Liverpool would handle that situation. They're stubborn twats, but with only a year left on the kid's contract and with FFP to consider, they can't afford to be stupid.

Would be very happy. There's life in that old dog yet! If he has pushed for the move and made it happen, as has been speculated on recently, he'd be determined to show Mourinho how wrong he was for picking Courtois. We'd have another genuine, world class footballer in the squad and more invaluable experience in the dressing room. Happy days.
