Didn't see Reus last night, but once again the guy is coming back from an injury lay off. Not a very long one this time, but they do enough to keep him from hitting top form. It is the one reservation I'd have when thinking about throwing a ton of money at Dortmund for him.

I wish listed Reus for the whole of last summer and while I would still love him here, I have the same reservation.

In my opinion the first step in overcoming our injury proneness would be to not sign historically injury prone players.

He is a tremendous ball player, and he always looks to get in behind the defense. Exactly what we need.

Whilst I think he's a class finisher he simply does not suit this current style we play & nor does he provide anything outside the final 3rd - we already have Walcott & Podolski who have similar strengths and weaknesses.

Prior to joining ManU he had scored 2 in 3 for Monaco, and this calendar year he's scored 3 in 2 for Colombia.
I'd happily pay 10m in wages on loan for a genuine 20+ goal ST, but he just doesn't fit.

Van Gaal has managed him poorly shifting him here and there and then not using him at all. Not worth investing the 200k a week now to try to get him back to his best for what 1-2 years.

Yeah thats it. I think he could be managed back into a good striker but he's not worth the money.

Fekir looks a top prospect. Not keen on Abdennour. Looked plucky and oafish on the ball
