I see plenty of posters wanting Gundogan, but I'd much, much rather have Veratti. Sooooo good in possession, and I just love his energy and attitude. I don't think either of them is an optimal signing, but this is the land of wishes after all.
Verratti is probably the best central midfielder in the world on current evidence. He's just insanely good. Presses like Coquelin, passes like Pirlo. Temperament like Vieira. And he's only 22. I would do disgusting things to see that guy in an Arsenal shirt.

Hard to imagine PSG selling him. He's their 2nd best player. Also think that Juvenile may be seeing enough success to keep Pogba happy.

Absolutely no chance PSG will sell Veratti, they told Barca where to go when they wanted Silva so won't entertain any thought of selling him. He would be my first choice as well but realistically never going to happen.
He wouldn't be my first choice, but a cracking player he is.

Veratti certainly isn't a defensive mid. That is what was so strange; PSG played a diamond midfield with Veratti at the base and Cabaye and Matuidi almost as wingers as it were. Baffling.
He's the sort of player that means you don't have to think in terms like 'defensive midfielder'. Total footballer.
Better than Vidal
Don't know what he's normally like but Veratti was absolutely class against Chelsea, very rare that a midfield performance from a non-arsenal team makes you sit up and take notice in such a manner. Bit of a hacker but that's not such a bad quality. Not going to happen in a million years though.
