Klaus yeah 100%. I think he's one of the biggest talents in the world. People like to make the Yamal comparison but he's such an outlier its pointless. Compare him to the rest of the 17 year olds in world football. Wenger would move players out of his way if he had him, I don't expect that from Arteta but if he signs someone like Madueke to take minutes from Nwaneri it'll be akin to when he had Willian ahead of Saka.

I think Arteta's management on Nwaneri has been spot on, he's shown with MLS as well that he isn't afraid to give youngsters a chance. Even when Arteta joined the club he showed a lot of faith in Saka and Martinelli as well. Plenty of things you can accuse Arteta of but not giving our youngsters a chance is not one of them.

With Nwaneri it looks like physically he hasn't quite matured yet so needs to be managed carefully. He did make nearly 40 appearances last season for us.

Nwaneri got muscle injuries as soon as he began starting games for us. I think Arteta and the staff are just bringing him along gradually. The likes of Yamal playing in La Liga have the luxury of being able to jog around and not be so committed defensively (if they have the technical quality etc). In the Prem you have to be able to run for days, the physical intensity of the league has gotten crazy. Most 17/18 year old creative players are not going to be able to handle that.

More than the league, specifically Arteta and our system asks wingers to play both offensive and defensive, and its exhausting for our wingers. There's a reason Salah gets himself forward so easily, because he is not being asked to do a lot of that defensive work that Saka (et al.) is having to do. Saka, if staying forward more, is able to isolate the defenders 1 on 1, he will be way more productive offensively than he already is. Same could be said for the LW (whoever that is)

Salah only got freed from his defensive duties at the age of 32 after years of doing dual duties. Saka is 23.

daredevil That's not true. Even when Mane was still there Salah played way pushed up most of the time, even further forward than Firminho who was the CF.

Gonna put this here as doesn't relate to this window, the guy who posted this is supposedly very reliable when it comes to Bayern Munich. Olise has a transfer release clause for next summer. He'll be in big demand next summer.

JazzG Hard to see him coming here with his best position by far being on the RW IMO. He's a phenomenal player but unless we moved Saka centrally to the Odegaard role, I just don't see it being a great use of funds to have both Olise and Saka. I'd rather have someone with a different skillset and ideally a lot more pace to add a different look. Really would like to ensure that City doesn't get him though- he's exactly what they need right now to replace KDB's output/creativity.

Class player though, will be 24 next summer so can defo see Liverpool being strongly linked. Depending on how Bayern do he might even stay longer, unfortunately for them Musiala will be out for a while but Diaz, Kane & Olise is a pretty decent front three.

There have been some loose links to Kenan Yildiz this summer. I don't know if there's anything concrete but that's some fucking talent. #10 who can play left wing, but might well end up developing into a striker too. Can't see Juve part with him for anything less than a fortune, but it just struck me that his profile is rather similar to other players we've been linked to.
