In theory this would be fine for the year. The issue though is Bellerin’s defending which frankly was as bad or even worse than Cedric’s last year.

Dear god don’t ever let Bellerin play in the first team again. Bloke is a foul throw merchant, is slow, can’t operate in tight spaces, is weak as piss - bounces off players.

Shaky defensively but decent attacking wise. A bit like a raw Monreal. I don't really believe the links though, if we wanted him we would have gotten him last year from Benfica instead of Tavares.

Would prefer Reguilon to be honest. There's a big player in there.

To be honest, with the Maddison links previously, I can actually see a scenario where Paqueta plays next to Odegaard ahead of Partey.

De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva play ahead of Rodri. In tougher games they then roll out Gundogan or previously Fernandinho.

Is Paqueta worth €80 mil? No. At €50-60mil it would be interesting. It would take good coaching to make sure Odegaard and Paqueta press and help defensively. On the ball, we could be lethal and definitely more unpredictable.

I still would prefer a more defensive option in there like Tielemans or Ruiz.

Paqueta would definitely have more upside though.

Why do you think that? For me Tielemans is likely to give you as much going forward but he's a better all rounder and he's been doing it in the PL. Same age too.
