DCL could be available for around 60m
Jovic at Real Madrid a back up option on loan.
Long term midfield targets for Arsenal include Ruben Neves, Bruno Guimaraes, Douglas Luiz & Tyler Adams.
Arsenal want the right player and will not just spend for the sake of it.
Arteta currently in US to discuss transfers with the ownership. Acknowledge it will be difficult to acquire their targets this month.

yeah Bruno would be ace and then maybe the loan deal for Jovic and call it a day.. We would all love a top striker but the Jan market is not easy and options are pretty average.. retry in the summer when there will be big moves

DCL is a dime a dozen player, paying £60m for him would be lazy business. I'm sure he could do a job, but you don't pay £60m for that.

I'd take Neves, have watched him a few times this season and he's been sublime on the ball each time. Douglas Luiz would get sent off half a dozen times a season for us.

I would take Neves but can’t imagine Wolves selling him in this window unless there are issues with his contract that I’m unaware of.

You guys are underrating Calvert Lewin. He would provide great physical presence and would be someone who could run in behind and get on the end of crosses. He works hard and his hold up play is decent.

agree, I'd be content with Calvert-Lewin but alongside another CF addition. 30-35 million sounds about right. Everton in no position to demand more.

Said that rather hastily but yeah combination of factors, namely that they're in serious debt losing 140 million from COVID last year, that DCL has spent a good amount of time on sidelines and isn't an international anymore, and that they're likely not going to make a European spot this year. Oh and 500 million hole for a new stadium under construction. So if I were them, I'd take what I can get now.

And then to play as LWF or to convert him to CF?
Have seen that suggested for Pepe as CF, but don't think he or Ousmane have the physique to play through the middle with back to goal. They may have the pace to do so facing goal and on the ball, but would be unlikely to be able to resist in any physical contest.

Adams looked really good when I've seen him. undersized, but explosive and good reader of the game, could bring the type of energy partey needs next to him. bit basic on the ball though
