Well, he can play as a centreforward. Has done quite a few times this season. I agree that he could probably not do it in Premier League/for us, though. Barcelona's centreforward is a false nine, while ours is not.

No. Sanchez is never going to be the attacking point in a team that includes Özil in the space behind the striker.

Well yeah but that's just Veysey being an idiot. He's just reporting something that's been floating around for the past week - that Dick Law and Liam Brady told someone Arsenal agreed terms with Alexis, and perhaps now Veysey 'has info' about an Arsenal delegation going to Madrid and is connecting the dots. I'd figure Wenger likes his versatility as a RW in a 4-2-3-1 and a central player in a 4-4-2 and that's where 'center forward' is coming from.
