Makes sense tbh. Wenger put up £40m for Suarez last summer, it makes sense that he still wants a striker if he can get one. He'll only buy a world class player though and it would be pretty close to the deadline.

Well Wenger did say that we'd be "busy" in the last two weeks of August. I fully expect a big signing before the window closes.

Let's hope so mate. With the right additions we'd be nailed on for the title. Still feel we'd have a good chance even without but the feel good factor would increase tenfold if we get some big names. Plus the squad would be, at least on paper, be improved. You never know with new signings though much as some would have you believe they always result in an improved team.
