Points to the complete blind spot we have on the footballing side of this club. Feels like Edu has no mind of his own and the only one calling the shots is Arteta. A Wenger-era structure, but unfortunately driven by a manager with <10% of Wenger's competence.

I think if we sign White, Lokonga, Renato Sanches, Maddison and Isak it is pretty much a perfect summer.

Can play Cedric at RB for all I care. Locatelli is too far a shot but I am glad we are interested in him. We never go for any Italians so its a good sign our scouts knows a quality player there.

Chambers did really well there at the back end of last season. If Hakimi was available I would have still gone for him 100%, but the other names mentioned don't look remotely inspiring. I would still try and find someone young and promising to compete for the role and get rid of Cedric though.

Feels like that's as much on what Ainsley wants too. To be fair to him, you can't blame him for wanting regular playing time at this stage of his career rather than playing second fiddle in multiple positions.

Chambers is decent at RB, nothing more. You can't have someone that unagile and slow in acceleration there if you want to play attacking football. Ideally he should be 2nd/3rd choice and play more at CB

Pedro Goncalves will be so smart. Potentially higher ceiling than Bruno Fernandes.

Goncalves would be a great investment as you say Clrnc. If we can get Sanches too, our midfield will be looking a lot better.

Would have him in a heartbeat too. I never got the deal with him when I watched him for Bayern but then I watched a few of his games for Portugal. Such an awesome footballer. Very Davids-like, and I'm not talking about the hair. Someone just needs to unlock that potential. Did he do well for Lille this season?
