Same. And it'll be a sad day for Carl and his family, but if he's not good enough, he's not good enough. Hopefully he can go away on loan, learn to play as a defender with a decent team in the Premier League and come back to be a good utility players for us.

Chambers for 7m would be great. Ospina and Chambers wrapped up by the start of August would put us in a good position. Only 2 signings needed after that(although we might only get one). Possibly a CB if Vermaelen leaves.

Anyway, reported fees seems to range from the Mirror's £7m to Goal.com's £16m. Regardless, it sounds like we might have got ourselves a real coup with this kid. I'm excited, Dules usually knows his shit!

So I went and checked the squad list in the New York thread, and Gnabry isn't listed.

I can understand that players like Lovren and Schneiderlin want out after the sales of Shaw, Lallana and Lambert but, fucking hell, the club needs to put its foot down at some point.

The more players they sell, the more likely the rest of the decent players want out as well, as Rex says. Schneiderlin and Rodriguez are surely the next to go.
