Seems consistent with selling Laca. Especially with rumours that we are looking to fix Aubameyang’s contract. Won’t have a better time to do it. I’m sure Dembele could replace Lacazette’s goals if not his workrate

I don’t watch enough football outside arsenal to be able to give a take on any non household names. I’m just hoping the guys we eventually sign would have been properly scouted and are going to be ready to impact us from day 1.

Dembele would cost a lot of money though, and that sort of negates the whole point of selling Laca to re-invest in other areas.

I too was talking about Celtic Dembele. That’s why I was saying we could use him in less important games. That frees up cash for a run at Pepe or Under out wide.

How much do you envision him costing? They bought him for £20m and as soon as Alaus sniffs a PL club coming in for him his price will at the very least double. You won't get him for less than 40m.

The Lyon Dembele misses too many easy chances, not prolific enough to my liking. More like Everton West Ham level.

Chalov is an interesting one but probably no legs in that story.

Jones will kill us, but if we're looking for strikers I think Sebastian Haller is pretty awesome. Got a bit overshaded by Jovic at Frankfurt because of an untimely injury, but he's not a worse player. I saw him linked to United the other day.

On one hand I can't imagine they'll sell both of them the same summer, but then again it would mean a ton of cash. They could use it to stabilise themselves in Bundesliga in the long term.

Looks a decent player, and I like the fact that he seems really mobile. That is a trait lacking in our back line

We can't afford 25m pounds and a loan back. Too much at stake and, frankly, there are really options out there we should be pressing before we trying something like that.
