Links to Exequiel Palacios. Madrid were after him last summer and he has an £12m release clause.
Looks quality
Touch of Banega about him
Would be excellent. I like the broad age profile we are looking for (apart from Djene Dakonam, if that's true).
Goes on Wikipedia to read about him
"Palacios initially was noticed by the media in August 2018 with his well publicized relationship with Instagram model Sol Pérez. It quickly became public though that around the same time Palacios and Pérez had started their relationship, Palacios had also begun dating amateur actress, singer, and dancer Juliana Orellano. Both Pérez and Orellano quickly ended their relationship with Palacios after finding out that he was dating the other. There was more drama however as on 21 August it became known that Palacios had been in relationship with a neighborhood friend Karen Gramajo, a manicurist, for four years. All three women angrily took to social media to protest Palacios' disloyalty."
😆
Would be great to get some potential in
A summer like this would be dreamy
Out: Cech, Ramsey, Mkhitaryan, Jenkinson, Elneny, Mustafi, Monreal, Welbeck
In: Martinelli, Palacios, Chilwell, Alexis Claude Maurice, Ziyech, Zaha

Ornstein:
With Europa League football, we're told it will be as low as around £40m. But with Champions League football, it will be higher. I've been led to believe that could mean up to £100m. The higher figure would require player sales and also need to cover the salaries of signings.

It's lacking in details, but if the club have communicated to Ornstein that with Champions League football and smart sales they expect to be able to increase our annual player costs (wages and amortised transfer fees) by £100m then that's a gargantuan budget to work with. It's double what Ornstein said the budget was last year.
Example: £100m increase = 5 x £50m players, each on 5 year contracts at 200k/week.

A few adjustments, but looks grand
Good adjustments! So many player movements need to happen which is the dampener
That Palacios look good. I like it.
Ezequiel Barco is another top talent that we would do well getting.
Palacios and saliba rumours are the harbinger of silly season. Didn't know they existed a day ago, now im convinced they're the future of the club
Very true.
At least we are feeling buoyant enough to throw out these names again. In the last few years we were just stewing. I like it.
I hope we transition to a hungry ambitious youthful energetic squad
I’m tired of our overpaid old n crusty squad which has the atlethism of a turtle

Dula, I think we have a massive opportunity to break this team. Toss out the turtles like Mkhitaryan, Xhaka and Ozil, and fashion something fun and exciting. Even if it doesn't win, it can still thrill. I remember long ago the Lakers had the Lake Show. It was pre-Kobe & Shaq championship rings. Young and athletic, it woke the fans from a stupor with highlight reels. That's what we need right now. I want to be thrilled. I want to feel young and sexy again.

I'm all in on William Saliba: 18 years old; built like Kompany and as cool as van Dijk.
This Palacios looks rubbish to me though.

I want to feel young and sexy again.
Sorry mate, no transfers can help you there.

I feel guilty for thinking this, but I'm concerned that we won't conduct a cull if we regain CL for next season, as the club would be too scared to do so and run the risk of dropping their bundle and dropping out again. If we win the Europa and the club then gets ruthless regardless then put me down as a believer.
Linked with joachim andersen. He actually caught my eye in a few sampdpria games i saw this season, tall, strong danish cb. Some articles earmark him as having a similar season to skriniar before he went to inter
Any regular serie a watchers able to shed some light?
Breaking | @MohamedTERParis , who 1st broke Matteo Guendouzi to Arsenal last summer, tells Get French Football News that the Gunners have had a bid rejected for Alexis Claude-Maurice already, but they will go in with a 2nd offer. More follows tomorrow.
Bild report that Germany U21 goalkeeper Markus Schubert, who plays for Dynamo Dresden, is a target and could move to the Emirates on a free transfer. https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/05/21/report-arsenal-interested-in-dynamo-dresden-goalkeeper-markus-sc/
Sounds like we are working down Mislintat’s long list. The kid has played for Germany’s youth teams since under 17 and kept 9 clean sheets in Bundesliga2. Would mark a clear number 1 and 2 with Leno for foreseeable future.
