I would tend to agree with you, particularly as we may get mugged on the price.
If there is an opportunity to acquire Dembélé, then we need to be on it, if it means sacrificing Bellerin then so be it. Meyer and Dembélé at a net cost of £50 million (although minus Bellerin) would be sensational, and in theory should enable us to have money left over for other departments.
I would like to see us get creative, and organise a loan with a a compulsion to buy next season. Free up even more money in the short for the midfield and defence.
