I know nothing about this bloke but I love that clip. When was the last time we signed an outright striker who could dribble and go past his man? 2004?

Pretty good dribbling and very calm. Not sure if it will translate against proper defenders. The main issue I have with that clip is that it seems like his finishing very hit and miss. And that's me being generous.

Worth a gamble though. I love the bit where he's leading a 4 v 1 attack, but rather than passing, he deciceds to beat both the defender and keeper before scoring.

Haven't watched him outside YouTube clips but I remember that he went into hiding for a week or so couple months ago, was quarreling with the club over a transfer in the summer.

Looks far from ready for this level imo, it shows in the clubs who were rumoured to sign him (Gladbach, Celtic etc). Probably still better than Welbeck mind

I was fully ready to shit on this transfer when I first heard about it but he actually looks genuinely impressive in the clips I've seen. He looks a lot like Sadio Mane to me.

One good thing about this summer is we know exactly what's ahead. Used to annoy me no end waiting to the death to do our business because we weren't sure if we'd qualify for the champions league or not

He plays left wing. Which makes all the shouts that this 19 year old left winger who finished as the league's top scorer playing for a mid-table team is a poor finisher based off of a 10 minute highlight clip all the more bizarre to me.

Is he even 19? Martins tore it up as a "youngster" and then disappeared into the abyss. This guy is probably 25 or 26.

Ahhh really don't understand the logic behind these signings. When was the last time we signed a cheap attacker who actually ended up playing games for us and not being loaned out for ages and then sold for peanuts? Genuinely can't remember.
