Argentina hleb? Hleb used to get 4-5 assists a season. Di Maria's nearly got 90 in the last 4 seasons alone and that's on top of the 40 odd goals.
What are the chances we end up not signing any of the following
Sanchez, Khedira, bender, Cuadrado, Schneiderlin. Benzema, Balotelli, cavani
We'll probs see someone like Cani and Thauvin

I could imagine Southampton waiting to buy a replacement before officially letting him go for both PR and practical reasons.
Schneiderlin would be a very pragmatic signing. We've been linked with a couple of big names who have very little edge over him but will probably end up costing an additional £10-15 million.
There was a rumour (confirmed by Southampton I think) last summer that we failed a bid on deadline day for one of their players. I wonder if it was Schneiderlin.
