We're probably just checking to see if we can get turan on the cheap. If we can it's a no brainer. I don't think for a second we'll pay the £30m or whatever the papers are quoting. But if he's unhappy about being a fringe player and old enough that his stock is dropping rapidly there's probably a deal to be done. And like giroud his game isn't based on pace.
Considering we could loose ozil, sanchez and santi, turan is a nobrainer he can fill in for any of those.
