I wouldn't be surprised if this signing is at least partly down to the findings of our statistical analysis company and therefore more of a Gazidis lead signing. I haven't checked but I bet you this Kolasinac scores very well.

Maybe I'm wrong and Wenger loves him, but I reckon Gazidis has more involvement than we realise in the final decision. I got the same feeling hearing Gazidis talk about Xhaka.

More than that is if you intend to convert the player to a new role or position, then you should train them in the new position or role to expedite the transition.

I asked jones about Kolasinac during the Jan Trans Window thread and he said he is in amazing form this season but patchy in years past. More of a left wing back as well.

Bellerin has been great offensively at times. He's having a bad few months but that happens when you're a young player with no competition and a manager who's lost the plot.

I don't think he'd be a good wing back. He's good when he has to run on to the ball, but I think his on the ball play is average.

Read something that suggested that because we didn't sign Rodriguez that we aren't looking to change our style or improve our supply from wide, which means that Giroud is not a fit as starting CF.

Apparently Kolasinac's father has said that he will choose between us and Milan next week. Hope he hasn't watched us play the last few weeks then.

Last week a LFC supporter at work was adamant that they were in line for him re their German connections.
Another concern re Milan is that they will have a crap tonne of money to rebuild from their new owners.
