Superb player in the making, firstly Atletico probably would not let him go unless a silly offer comes in and secondly if the Mustafi fee is a problem this guy will cost much more.

Why he's not nearly as bad as Silvestre/Cygan/Squillaci. Not everyone will like it but if the fee is reasonable then he'd be a good 4th choice/experienced defender.

Fonte would be good too however United are rumoured to be interested.

I don't think that we have ever felt so disheartened. Wengers last one is gonna be a L O N G one. His reputation is going to be shot to bits by May.

Despite Wengers frugal spending we haven't made profit on the football side in 5 years. I got shot down for saying that before but the Swiss ramble piece confirmed it.

It's a disheartening thought. We have 60-70 million ish from property. No matter who replaces Wenger there still going to have to develop players like Liverpool, spurs, Dortmund. Were bigger than those but were not in the top money league with city Chelsea united PSG real barca and Bayern.
