Yes. We have enough depth in the other positions. We could use another DM but I don't reckon Wenger is looking to strengthen there. Striker needs to be priority.

Yeah, because Ronaldo, Messi and Ageuro are the only ones who can improve on Giroud 13 goal a season average.

Personally I completely agree, it won't be long after singing those guys we'd all be pining after another centre forward. As I said before, unless we get someone top class I'd rather just chance it on Giroud and Theo and invest the money on a world class player elsewhere on the pitch.

The only way signing Aubameyang or Dzeko makes any sense is if Welbeck is sold and I really don't see that happening.

I could see him being loaned out in January, but probably not before then. I don't think anyone is interested in taking a punt at a player who's been injured for half a year at this stage.

Arsenal are clear to sign Alessio Romagnoli with his club Roma happy to sell him to the Gunners over AC Milan, according to reports.

Romagnoli is expected to leave Roma this summer after being farmed out on loan to Sampdoria last term, and Milan have been in talks over a deal.

However, Arsenal entered the race last week, and reports say Roma want to sell the player to Arsene Wenger’s men instead of Milan.

Roma don’t want Romagnoli to play for a rival club and while Milan are likely to pay more for the 20-year-old, Arsenal have now got the green light to get him.

The news comes after it was claimed that Roma’s transfer chief was in England to speak to Arsenal about signing Romagnoli.
