Breaking Bad is looking nailed on to have a higher octane conclusion than Mad Men could manage, though. Never seen a show more committed to a single character's (Walt's) development than BB.
That's pretty important because after the first season, most of the new ground these cable shows have to break is gone—there's nothing left to cling to but dramatic integrity.
