Disappointed about Last Resort too, its no masterpiece but its very entertaining every week. Shawn Ryan must be wondering what he has to do to make a hit.

i think it was just too expensive to keep going without huge numbers.. but as you said, it was entertaining.. and yeah, Shawn Ryan keeps making good shows, but they are canceled all the time. Terriers, Lie to Me, Chicago Code, Last Resort were all very good shows (IMO), especially Terriers, which i was just SO pissed about. He hasnt had more than 2 seasons since The Unit (which was also good)

Speaking of Terriers, Donal Logue has been on Sons of Anarchy for the last two episodes. It looks like his role might extend beyond the season finale.

Dissapointed but not gutted to be honest. The standalone nature of the episodes meant it wasn't really going to keep viewers coming back. Has more than it's fair share of crap acting too.

Standalone episode stuff tends to do better usually. If anything its the serialised stuff that viewers can't deal with.

Anyway it was the time slot that killed LR, it'd have need a miracle to get an audience.

Didn't even need to be particularly serialised, just think a cliffhanger here and there would have helped.

Saw Homeland season 2 episode 10 last night. Loving NZ managing to get it just hours after it screens in the US.

Is that even possible to hack into someone's pacemaker with the serial number and stop it from a computer at some distant location? Unless pacemakers operate over some sort of mobile network (and why would they?) how could one be accessed?

The Walking Dead's season finale was great. Season 3 has been ace; so much better than the first two.

Yeah I'm loving this series of TWD. Its just so action packed and exciting.

Wish I could say the same for Boardwalk Empire. Just watched the finale and I don't think I'll be back next season.

I always think about the Donbot in Futurama whenever I see Joe Masseria on Boardwalk Empire. Ivo Nandi is an outstanding actor and the character brought a lot to a struggling show this season but I just can't get it out of my head.

Agree with Pep on TWD. Although the single black guy quota isn't even slightly subtle.

I still love Boardwalk Empire, but so many of the side plots just fizzled out. I thought the last 3 eps were great, the main storyline brought to a fair conclusion, but they still struggle trying to juggle so much for me.

Anyone seen the series Alcatraz with Sam Neill? Started here last night and I watched the first episode and thought it was good with a really interesting plot. Just read that it got cancelled though which is a shame so there's only the 1 series. Wonder why the network here has even bothered to show it. I suppose they paid for it before it got cancelled so they may aswell stick it on. Or probably because it's Sam Neill they feel they have to.

Something just doesn't add up about Sam Neill being that character though. He's 10 years too young.

Season 3 has been a big improvement over 2 (which wasnt hard tbh). The samurai girl is annoying as hell though, terrible actress

^ I started watching Alcatraz and was ok for a while but soon became boring for me, too Lost like for my liking and I havent got the patience for that anymore.

Season 3 was better than 2 and 1 combined x 3. Sucks that there's a break now.

I've read the comics so i know what's coming up: it gets better for a few more episodes (probably end of season 3) then it goes into a lull. I'm hoping they skip a whole bunch of useless shit that happens in the comics and go straight for the next big plot line which is good. Btw the new black guy (Tyrese) is going to be awesome if he's anything like the comics. He should've been around way before but i'm glad they finally added him. He's basically like Daryl and lots of people actually thought that Daryl was the replacement but I guess not.
