Yeah The Shield is always overlooked, I think it suffered alot from being in The Wires shadow. Agree completely about the Shane character, he seemed such a nothing stereotype at the start but by the end he was as important and interesting as Vic. Probably the best finale to a series I've seen in recent years too. Pitch perfect that one with no cop outs and without predictability, so well written. Are you watching his new one Chicago Code? Its alright so far but its missing something to really elevate it to the top tier of TV at the moment. Such a shame they cancelled Terriers, that was great TV.
I'll say nothing more about SOA, just that it remains good. Though maybe a slight drop off in the 3rd series, might not bother you as much as me, you'll understand that when you see it.
