Finished Boardwalk Empire Season 2 finale. Gutted with how it played out, but was to be expected in my opinion.

I'm hoping for a few things from now on:

-Less of Margaret Schroder (unlikely, I know, but she is such an irritating character)
-They don't get rid of Van Alden. There's a chance to write him off now, but he is so good, I hope we haven't seen the last of him
-The rise of Al Capone and Charlie Luciano. It's about time they rose to prominence.

Certainly not less of Mrs Shroeder! Also, I don't think that "how it played out" was expected at all.

Well, I didn't mention that Facebook kept posting spoilers which put the idea in my head, so every subtle thing lead me to realise what was going to happen (the farewell to his son, leaving Richard behind etc).

The wife wants us to see a series called The Borgias. Any good? Worth watching, or should I just tell her to forget it? 🙂

I can't believe I'm asking this, but... has anyone seen Teen Wolf? I'm hearing great things about the second season. Just making sure I'm not missing another Vampire Diaries here.

The Borgias is good, but quite dry. I watched half of the first season and just sort of forgot to watch anymore. Its written and acted well, though.

It's a bloody excellent show. I never thought I'd like it either. It starts out horribly but just stick with it. It gets pretty dark after a few episodes. People die all over the place and the supposed protagonists are taking turns at impersonating serial killers.

I loved it to bits until I watched Breaking Bad and Boardwalk Empire, which opened my eyes to top class t.v. But Walking Dead still has so much untapped potential, last season was mostly pants, but I really have a good feeling for this one.

The Walking Dead has been pretty poor so far but with the change of showrunner and the source material for the new season I'm still holding out hope for season 3.

Yes it is. They are splitting it up though, much like the last season of The Sopranos. Eight episodes will air now, and then the last eight in the new year.
