Anyone seen Boardwalk Empire yet?

Just saw the season finale the other week. I thought it was an excellent first season. Two or three episodes halfway through were a bit patchy but generally it kept a very high standard. Buscemi plays his role to perfection.

Boardwalk Empire is a great show... i know one of the ward bosses (his sister works with my wife)

Just started watching Boardwalk Empire with the start of Sky Atlantic.

Finally going to get the chance to see many of these great shows with that channel, including Sopranos from the beginning.

Halfway through Sopranos series 3 now and it gets better and better.
Almost every episode - classic charters, classic lines.
Paulie, Silvio, Junior...😆:gah:
Tony's Mom....just about the most thoroughly evil mother ever to hit TV. Funny though.

I have, but only the odd episode here and there. Never from the 1st episode through.

Still maintain the way they ended it was crap, I don't care how anyone tries to justify it.

The stuff with his son was a little annoying too.

Otherwise, brilliant show. Pine Barrens one of my favorite episodes from any TV show.

Loved the ending. I have my own theories about the theme of the series as a whole, but I won't inflict them on you 😃

I'd actually be interested to hear what those theories are....... 😃

I haven't really thought about it on that level, just enjoying the comedy, drama and tragedy of it all for the moment.

Currently watching:

Californication - Getting a bit deriviative, but I'm a big Duchovny fan

30 Rock - Still incerdibly funny for a show in it's 5th season

Spartacus: Gods of the Arena - I like it better than the first season, which was brilliant especially toward the end

The Thick of It - Only stumbled across this in the last few weeks, but it's great. Think Glengarry Glenross set in the British parliament
