HIMYM is a strange series. Some of the writing is brilliant, but at the same time some of the stuff is pure cringe. On one hand you have intricate and absurd humor, but on the other hand you have some ridiculous teen-girl-romance-fantasy.

Again, Justified finished a couple of weeks ago and as far as I'm aware not even a mention on here. Poor season?

Going to watch it myself soon.

Very good season, disappointing finale. Don't like the premise it set up for next season either.

What? I couldn't see the show ending with anything other than Raylan going after him. It's the way it has to be.

I like where that characters story is going but I didn't like how they got this point, sloppily done.

I genuinely didn't realise it was the season finale after I'd watched it. For some reason I thought there was going to be another episode. Well disappointed when I found out.

Pity, because overall it was a pretty good season.

Finished it now. Was pretty inevitable that the last season was going to be about going after you-know-who I guess. Was a good season IMO, but not one of the best. I also don't like they have phased out Art. There were tendencies this season they were going to do more with the character, and instead they seem to be going the other way. Disappointing.

It wasn't one of the best justified seasons but it was still a really good season of TV. If they finish well it'll be up there for me.

I recently re-watched all seasons of the Wire and, for me, that is as good as television gets. That series is a fucking masterpiece IMO.

Yeah, I don't personally see that Sopranos, the Shield or anything else being anywhere near the Wire myself, but I hear quite a lot of people being of that opinion. Not that it matters, but still.

Oh I have the Sopranos ahead of it but at that level it's down to small personal things. The Shield isn't close for me, good show but bloated with too many middling seasons. Sopranos, The Wire, BB, Mad Men, Deadwood, Friday Night Lights. That's the top tier of TV IMO.

FNL is kind of an exception because it does some awful shite in its second series but the rest is so good it makes up for it.
