Just seemed from your post that people in general didn't like the season finale.
Anyone watched Scandal? Have just finished season 2 and really enjoyed it.
Is The Killing and House of Cards worth watching?
This was a really good bit of criticism from Film Crit Hulk on the True Detective storyline:

Here - this is from Rake.

The latter is great entertainment. Would definitely recommend.
The Killing is terrible. Well if you mean the US version, dunno about the scando version.

Its one of the most mental things on television.
Just realised 24 is back! Now that's a show where you need to switch your brain off.

The Danish version is really good, though seasons 2 and 3 never reach the level of the superb first season.

The storylines are pretty far-fetched but at the same time you can believe these kind of things happening in US politics. Think I enjoy the ludicrousness as a government worker!
And speaking of being a government worker I've just binged watched the first half of House of Cards season 1 this afternoon. Shouldn't have waited this long!

Totally agree with that. That first season was one of the most enjoyable series of television I've ever watched.
Anyone keeping up with The Following? Probably my favourite at the the moment alongside Arrow.
I gave up with The Following after 6 episodes. It was painful. There was only so many times I could watch the same thing over and over.

Is Arrow really a decent show? It looked so shit and cheesy in all the ads I saw that I never even bothered to watch it.
Started a bit cheesy maybe but got really good in the 2nd half of season 1 and has stepped up a level further in season 2.
Its about as cheesy as super hero movies. Some fucking awful actors in it though. Laurel and her Dad are just woeful.
Justified is well and truly back on track. Walton Goggins is a superb actor.
Hannibal: quality cast, beautifully shot, potentially intriguing central relationship AND Gillian Anderson.
So, why are Jo and I finding it such a slog?
