Rapaport is threading a fine line between interesting and ridiculous. On another show I don't know if he'd get away with it but there is enough of that sort of weird individual modes of speech on Justified that it works.

Walton Goggins as Boyd though is amazing. Almost every line delivery is either comically brilliant or chilling.

Aye, Walton Goggins has been amazing this season. Not that he hasn't been great previously, but he's taken it to another level now.

The 2 week break came at the worst possible time. The preview for the next episode was really promising though. It's really going to kick off now.

Love the western outlaw look that Boyd started to develop last season too. He's a lot more interesting than Raylan nowadays.

I'd say even Art is more interesting than Raylan this season.

Yeah. I like that, actually. The weakness of Justified is that it paints many of the supporting characters with very broad strokes. Art should have had a lot more development over the years so the current storyline is most welcome. Rachel's function is still to be either a potential love interest or to provide some tender comfort for Raylan. And I wish they'd flesh out Tim's character a bit more. He had that feud with Boyd's old army buddy last season but it didn't really go anywhere.

Started season 2 of Arrow last night. Pretty good start. Am also currently enjoying Hostages.

Did it improve towards the end of the first season? I watched the first ten or so episodes but had to stop because I just couldn't take all the teen drama and the horrible supporting cast. I've seen better line delivery in Paradise Hotel.

I felt there was a lot to like about it otherwise though. The villains were pretty great, for instance. The whole show had a sense of Smallville about it.

It did get really good towards the end. Was a great season finale too with a kind of surprising ending (without spoiling it too much, it wasn't the Hollywood ending with everyone saved that you'd expect).

Cheers mate. Reckon I'll pick it up at some point again. I'm going for two long transatlantic flights next month. Might be a good opportunity to catch up.

Klaus I dropped it in season 1 too but my girlfriend kept watching so before season 2 they had a 40 minute catch up episode. I watched that and it was grand to get me back into it. I'm really enjoying it now. Far better than Shield.

Speaking of superhero TV I seen today that Donal Logue is going to be in Gotham.

Same here. The acting is pretty solid but I'm not sure the writing is clever enough to sell it. The 4th wall trick gets old very quickly too.

First episode was pretty good. I don't usually mind the breaking of the 4th wall in it, I find it can add a bit of humour thats generally lacking in HoC but its incredibly annoying in this episode.

Seen the first 4 episodes of True Detective now. It is a really good show so far, and the last episode was amazing.

Watched the first episode of Agents of SHIELD last night. Not the most memorable pilot ever but I expect it to keep getting better. I may have missed a few references though as I've somehow not managed to see any of the films after the first Iron Man!

Is The Tomorrow People any good?

Loving True Detective though I enjoyed the first three episodes more than the last two, my roommate is the opposite. Really comes down to your desire of dialogue/story vs action and what balance you enjoy.
