Season 4 was definitely the highlight for me. I found season 3 a little slow from what i can remember. 5 was the second best season imo.

I felt that the whole breaking bad series extended and continued on plain miscommunication. Nobody answers anyone properly and takes at least ten seconds before answering anything.

I don't know, I guess there is some sort of protocol in place for when a specialist from overseas is consulted. Maybe the relevant Australia certification is recognised here anyway, or since she was from NZ and had moved to Australia she may have had the NZ stuff from the past.

I have never actually been to Queenstown where it was all filmed. Really should.

Started Hannibal 2 or 3 weeks ago, through the first 6 episodes now. Was starting to lose interest but the last episode was very good. Its worth a watch.

Hannibal is excellent tv. Can't wait for season 2.

Holy fuck, True Detective is good.

Watched the first three episodes (all that's available) and think I'll rewatch them soon. There's too much going on (plot, connections and hallucinations) to catch it all in one viewing.

If yis like True Detective you should check out Rectify. Similar part of America, similar tone, similar mystery then vs whats happening now vibe.

Finished Friday Night Lights recently. Pretty solid show but it's nowhere near the top tier of television shows. All down hill from season 1 too.

Season 2 is poor but 3,4,5 are all as good as if not better than season 1.

When you say its not top tier what shows would you consider top tier?

Breaking Bad, Mad Men, The Sopranos, The Wire. Stuff like that.

I throw on random episodes of those shows now and then. Don't see myself ever re-watching FNL.

Finished season 2 of BB and actually didn't enjoy it as much as season 1. Still bloody good tv though.

End of season two killed me, personally. Really enjoyed the flashback structure of that season with the inserts of plane wreckage in each episode, but no clear idea what the significance would prove to be.

Yeah that was good. I thought it was showing snipets of a meth lab explosion but the figured it out as soon as that scene with Jane's dad at work strarted. I loved the old geezer in the wheelchair with the bell and Saul. Very cool characters. Walt gets harder to like I'm finding.

Also - can't wait to watch last night's True Detective. Couldn't believe (ok, I can totally believe) they left it on such a big cliffhanger before the Superbowl weekend.

Great action packed episode of True Detective. Love the way they depict the criminal underworld. Absolutely nothing romantic about it.
