Anyone watched Scandal? Season 1 finally began here last night, typically a year and a half after everywhere else with season 3 due to start next month. Will probably keep up with it for now.

I think Boardwalk Empire is excellent. Didn't know the new season had started! So many shows I 'need' to catch up on now.

Watched the 2nd episode of Under the Dome last night. Pleased to see a couple of people start to think about digging under it which was missing in the first episode. My other question was about where the air they are breathing comes from but I guess that was answered with the water testing.

Watched the first 10 minutes of 'The Newsroom' and it was the best goddamn intro to a series i have ever seen.

I just want to know how many episodes of breaking bad are left? I plan on downloading the second half of the season when it's all finished and doing a breaking bad marathon 😃

Rewatching The Sopranos at the minute. We got to Janice's aborted engagement with Richie Aprile last night. The fact that this episode, with everything that goes on in it, is so funny just hammered home the fact that the genius of The Sopranos lay in its comedy. It's back on top of the list.

Its definitely top of the list for me too. I think when all these new shows come along people forget just how fucking brilliant the Sopranos actually was. Sopranos has everything. Great plot, amazing array of fully realised characters, shocks, humour, it took massive risks, it challenged its audience. I can't think of another show that done all of that so successfully.

My favourite show of all time. I started watching it after it had ended, but wasnt aware of any spoilers.

Jo sat me down with DVDs of series 1-5 and we caned them, more or less just in time for the start of series 6. It was a nightmare going from being able to watch 4 in an evening to one a week!

And I found out about one of the main character's end before it happened, but once I got over that knowledge it didn't ruin anything, if anything it heightened anticipation of when, and how, it would happen.*

Janice is/ was awful, but delightfully so.

*Said in a non spoliery way on the off chance that anyone reading this thread has somehow not seen all of The Sopranos.

I haven't been spoiled yet, but I did notice that after the most recent episode everyone's mind seemed to have been completely blown. Lot of comments about being emotionally drained etc on Twitter.
