Mate, that's the whole point, it really doesn't matter if it is 6 weeks, 2 months or 85 days and 4 hours, I got your point when you said that he was missing for three months, just that he was injured for quite some time*. Similarly we all knew the point was she was an older woman. The thread has been sidelined into some kind of gossip column instead of discussing whether or not the guy is good enough or not.
