Kante-Xhaka would be fantastic. There's no way we sign two CM's in one summer though, starting one's no less. Best we can hope for is one of them I reckon, and I'd prefer Xhaka as he'd be a better fit for our team.

Yep I know - but if we want to be successful it's the kind of thing we need to be doing. Take the opportunities to strengthen when we can.

Need to get a midfielder who can pass. If Wenger gets only Kante/Xhaka he'll have left midfield subpar again.

Xhaka can pass. We don't need a ballerina in midfield. i'd be content with Xhaka/El Neny as a starting pair next year. Ozil also needs to step up and have a 10 goal 15 assist season. He can't be goal shy as a 10

Kante is an outstanding player.

He probably surpasses Coquelin's tackling all while having an excellent engine and can run all day.

Ozil has between a 1 in 5 and 1 in 6 rate. It's decent.

The biggest difference in goals is from the forward line where we have a 5 league goals a season type striker in Welbeck and a first choice striker who scores a bit more than half of what a first choice should be scoring.

Where are you reading that from? I have seen quite a few reports on him being a Xabi Alonso mould passer and a DLP.

Honestly though, Kante would help us win any midfield battle in the world. And for that I will get him straight away. We will never have to worry about our defence being breached again.

Just get Kante and boot Coquelin. Offer him in return to Leicester even to knock a few million off the fee. I suspect we're going to play with three central mids next season anyway, similar to how Juve used to line up. That's why we're rumored to be after Xhaka Granit too.

Something like Xhaka being the deepest player in front of the defence spraying passes around with two workhorses ahead of him (kanté+Ramsey)?

I imagine so, yeah. All three have a spectacular workrate and could interchange to some degree.
