Did anyone have their eye on this guy before Wenger swooped?
Never heard of him myself.

he's a little bit young schweini, a little bit xabi alonso, and he's a lefty

Reading around it seems that is the consensus.

I also saw him compared to Dele Alli

He's the captain of Mönchengladbach and Switzerland at 23, he plays like Alonso/Arteta as a DLP, he's proper hard on the pitch. Ticks all the boxes we need.

I hope we pair him with Cazorla, with Coq, Elneny and Wilsh as their backups. Ramsey will probably be involved higher up the pitch, meaning we wont buy a genuine wide-forward.
