at least they sing and lift their shitty team. liverpool no matter the talent level know that they are expected to perform in europe because they play for a club that historically performs in europe. there is no such expectation with our players.

As if the atmosphere at the Emirates isn't fantastic on big European nights. I've been Anfield for a run of the mill Champions League group stage match and it was a terrible atmosphere. Like the Emirates at its worst.

Don't think their history has anything to do with it, nobody at their club has ever done anything on European level.

You could make a case for Sevilla who've won the EL in the last two seasons but they are currently bottling it at home where they're a powerhouse vs Bilbao despite a win in the first leg.

Fair play to them, we definitely would not have come back like they did. Liverpool aren't a very good team but they showed some fight today and got their reward.
