With Pique out they'll look a lot more vulnerable at the back but this is too much to overturn now. At 0-1 we are still in the tie but when we go down in these big games more often than not we fuck up again.

I was fearing a whooping but for a lot of that game we did ok, our front four gave us very little cutting edge up top. Last time we beat them at home we played a hell of a lot worse and still managed to win.

Because they didn't play that well and still created enough chances? They don't over commit away from home in the CL - it's been a trend since 2009. Their away record in the CL is relatively average because they know they can hammer you at the Camp Nou.

Yeah, that sort of thing happens. But he had a few moments like that and it shows he's seriously lacking confidence. Welbeck looked good when he came on, I'd start him against United.

Wenger banked on those guys regular contributing goals and none of them have. Ozil, walcott, ox, ramsey - they've all been goal shy. Walcott and ramsey are the 2 that disappoint because you know they can score

Their class in attack means they only need a half chance, even at that they missed some clear cut chances, our average strike force would benefit from them playing without a keeper.

We had our chances before Barcelona scored. We take even one and the match finishes differently. We looked very comfortable when sitting deep facing the play.

This tie is done, Wenger needs to be smart. I am less concerned with this result and more about our possible injuries from this match.

Chamberlain, Coquelin and Ramsey could all be injured. I hate such nights.
